Falling Water is the most famous modern house in America.Considered
Frank Lloyd Wright domestic masterpiece, the house is recognized worldwide
as the paradigm of organic architecture, where a building becomes an integral
part of its
natural setting. The very name Fallingwater, coined by Wright, suggests
continuing changes. The house transformed its setting and united, they
became a symbol of twentieth century creativity. But Falling Water is more
than a symbol ; it has participated , and still does, in living experience.
Thus it is clear that the dynamic process at the core of Fallingwater is a necessary unifying of humankind and tyhe natural environment. When this is appreciated, Fallingwater is understood and will continue to be adaptive, " opening the mind of human beings....to a sense of the marvelous. "
